Cohen, Paul A. Speaking to History: The Story of King Goujian in Twentieth-century China. Berkeley: University of California, 2009. Print.
The perspective of this book is rather neutral but it does have Goujian as the good guy, it just doesn’t say stuff like “The evil King Fuchai viciously conquered good King Goujians state of Yue”. This book is about Goujian, who he is, where he ruled, what happened in his life, and all the legendary things he did. It also tells the story about how his state was conquered, and how he built it back to it’s former glory.
This is a reliable source because it was written by a Professor of Asian Studies and History Emeritus.
Used for the Epic Poem and Odd habits, and Yue vs. Wu.
"Goujian Sword." Baike Baidu. Baidu, 1 Jan. 2012. Web. 20 Oct. 2012.
(Written in Chinese, I have to use a translation thing)
The perspective is that the sword is an amazing work of art, way beyond its time. They talk about who owned it, what it’s made of, how it was found. It even tells some of the legend about how it was chosen from the original five bronze swords.
This is a reliable source because Baidu (It’s publisher) is a large well known Chinese search engine.

"Iron and Steel in Ancient China." Google Books. Google, 1 Jan. 2012. Web. 24 Oct. 2012.
The perspective of this book is that Goujian had to hire master smiths to get such a masterpiece. The part of this book that talks about the Sword of Goujian tells about about how it was picked from five other swords. Part of it tells the legend of how it was forged (with a dragon serving at the furnace).
This is a reliable source because its information comes from an original Chinese manuscript (Lin Shoujin) which might even be a primary source.

"Sword of Swords: The Sword of Goujian." Sword of Swords: The Sword of Goujian. Ministry of Culture, P.R.China, 1 Jan. 2003. Web. 20 Oct. 2012.
The perspective is that this sword is very advanced for its time and that it is to the Chinese, as King Arthur's Sword is to us. This source is basically telling an overview of the sword, where it comes from, who owned it, and what it’s made of. It also gives a bit of back-story about King Goujian, which I find helpful because one of the things that make something a legend is who owned it and up until know I didn’t know anything about him.
I find this to be a reliable source because it was published by Ministry of Culture, and it seems like they would be the ones who would know, plus, everything in it agrees with other articles.

Theobald, Ulrich. "Chinese History - Goujian, King of Yue." Chinese History. N.p., 2 Dec. 2010. Web. 09 Dec. 2012.
The perspective one this site is that King Goujian was a mighty warrior. Most of whats on this site I already know, but there is one bit about Fuchai committing suicide when it was abusive that the battle was lost.
I think this is a reliable source because it is a Chinese organization.
